In the southeastern portion of the Iberian cape lies the spectacular Costa Calida , literally meaning 'the warm coast.' The Costa Calida s beachfront stretches 250 kilometers long, starting from the Carolina beach in Aguilas up to the coast of El Mojon on the frontier of Alicante . In between the two opposite endpoints are quaint villages like La Azohia and Cabo de Palos , which are equally ideal for day tripping and sight seeing.
